How it Works
Start Shopping & Earn Some Cash Back!
- Log into Online Banking or our Mobile App. Look for the Legend CashBack+ in the "Special Features" menu.
- You can also access Legend CashBack+ by clicking "Start earning" on your accounts home screen.
- You'll see this pop-up message about how it works. Click the X in the top left corner or scroll to click the "Get Started" to proceed.
- Explore Your Cash Back Offers and Purchase Gift Cards. You can search by brand name or click "See all merchants" to find deals.
- Pick a Gift Card by selecting the brand name and the amount you'd like to purchase. Click "Select Gift Card".
- Confirm the email address for the e-gift card and your Legend Bank account to pay with. You'll see your balances in each account before making your purchase. Click Confirm. You'll verify your identity with the numbers you have on file with your OLB/Mobile Secure Access Code.
- Once you submit your code, it may take a few seconds for the transaction to process.
- You will see your gift cards in your CashBack+ wallet by clicking "menu" at the top of the page. And your cash back balance will update accordingly.
Orders can’t be cancelled so be sure you want the gift card when making your purchase.

Why do I see different options than other customers?
- CashBack+ provides the best offers for all users. The options may change depending on a variety of factors including previous purchase history, location, promotional campaigns, and more. The percentages you see will be customized and relevant to you based on past purchasing behavior, location, and value.

- The best part of CashBack+ is how simple it is to use. Simply purchase a digital gift card and instantly receive an additional percentage of your gift card value as cash back. The cash back will appear in your CashBack+ Wallet which is accessible in the top right menu of the CashBack+ and can be used for other gift card purchases once you reach the gift card amount you want to purchase or transferred back into your checking account in any increment.
- You can utilize cash back to either purchase additional gift cards through the Legend Bank CashBack+ or your cash back balance can be transferred back to your checking and savings accounts in Online Banking. Transferring cash back to your account only takes up to 24 hours and there are no fees associated with utilizing their cash back. If you are purchasing gift cards with your cash back, you’ll need to have the gift card amount in your CashBack balance to purchase it.
Gift Card Questions
- Gift cards are always easily accessible to you. Once purchased, your digital gift card will be available within your CashBack+ Wallet. You will also receive a confirmation email at the time of purchase to the email associated with your Legend Bank account. Some gift cards can take 1-3 business days to be available but most are available much sooner. The digital gift card comes with a code that can be used online or scanned in store. Your gift card will remain in your CashBack+ Wallet until you’re ready to use it and you can then archive it within the wallet once used.
- While expiration policies are dictated by the specific gift card's retailer, federal law requires gift cards are not permitted to expire within a minimum of 5 years from the date of purchase. To get more information regarding the specific gift card, we recommend reaching out to the specific brand’s support team.
- CashBack+ only provides digital gift cards to ensure they can be utilized instantly, but you can always print your digital gift card. You can use the gift card Code and PIN to redeem online or if presented with a barcode, either scanned from your cellular device or printed out and presented to the cashier at the time of purchase.
- Once a gift card is purchased, we are unable to exchange it or cancel the gift card purchase or make a refund to your account.
- When you give a gift card purchased through CashBack+, it is recommended that you archive the card in your Legend Bank CashBack+ wallet so you don’t use it by accident because your gift card will still remain in your wallet when you gift it.
- When you purchase a gift card, you’ll receive an email that your gift card will be ready within 1-3 business days. Most gift cards are available immediately or within a few hours, but there are fraud protections in place so there may be some delays with some card purchases.
- When using your gift card, you may be able to easily connect it to the merchant’s app on your phone or you can copy and paste the gift card number and PIN into your merchant's app. Additionally, you can save the gift card in your CashBack+ digital wallet to redeem when you are ready.
